Two plays with a common theme – a son’s perception of his parents during his growing up years, narrated on the days of the respective parent’s death anniversary. “Shradha”, based on a short story by Srinivasa Vaidya, explores the relationship between the son and his disciplinarian and autocratic father. “Stainless Steel Paathregalu”, based on Vasudhendra’s story with the same name, explores the mother’s obsession with stainless steel utensils, as seen through the eyes of her son.
